Welcome to Grace Farms. We originally bought our acreage in 1976 having in mind the idea of building small ponds on it to raise bait fish. Soil maps led us to our present location where clay soil is abundant.
The previous owner had many acres planted in white spruce and red pine as a soil conservation measure, so we consulted with the Oswego County Cooperative Extension agent about what to do with these.
We were advised to sell the tops as Christmas Trees. This we did with great success.
We decided to expand our venture beyond the raising of bait fish, and enter into the raising of quality Christmas Trees.
We joined the Christmas Tree Farmers Association of New York in 1979, and have been active members ever since.
Our farm is also part of the “Pride of New York“ program which promotes the state’s production of quality farm goods.
